Chris Mbawu aka king_of_light, who refers too himself as a kasi photographer is an incredible young talent. A photography student at Tshwane University of technology who happened too study film and television for a year at the Sabc academy. Before deciding to leave film and too venture into photography full time.
Chris assisted on a few scenes on birth of a nation, as an additional camera guy and also was the main guy behind all of the stills taken through the course of this documentary.

Madu Dube
Madu Dube is the main brains behind the birth of a nation project.A twenty one year old filmmaker from the east rand. She first started working on the project alone in her first year of film school, then later joined forces with the rest of the team to assist her in areas that are not of her specialty.
This is her first full length documentary that will definitely be followed by more work .

Ngoni Chimbo
Ngoni Chimbo is another great talent,with years of
experience as a sound engineer. Originally from Zimbabwe but based in South Africa, where he launched his record company Casa Preta Records.
He mixed and mastered the final audio sound and almost all of the music on the documentary by the duo (the Soul & the Conscious) were recorded at his studios in braamfontein.
